    Mother's side is Langfords
    my grandmas last name was netzler...thats our german side... our irish side is Douglas which sprung from O'Douglas but was later changed. My grandfathers side was Gulliver but Langford was a name he chose to take from his adopted family,

    Pops side is Afoa, been that way, will be that way for a min lol

  • You'e mentioned names in here that i recognize!!! Ima go ask my Mum!!! She has genealogysz glued to her eyelids and can pretty much recite this from off the top of her head...

    I think the 'Tururangi' name may have descended from the village 'Turangi' itself... But i'll double check!!!

  • Oh my gosh! :sbav: :sbav: :sbav: I'm going to have to start taking this site seriously and stop posting stupid things. I'll be back with more names. For now, please help me find something I've been stuck on for the longest time. Last name Apai; possibly Apai Tururangi or Apaitururangi. The name is from Rarotonga, but this man ended up in Samoa somehow on the island of Upolu...or atleast his daughter Lili Apai/Tururangi did. Any information would so be appreciated.

  • My great-grandparents surnames were: Le'i and Save'ena (Pago Pago & Aunu'u) as well as Malo and Brown (Apia). We also have lots and lots of Malala's (Pago Pago) and Maliga's (Aunu'u).

    Chief is Gi Malala. Other close family surnames are Hunt and Tavai. I work on my family tree every day and I love it so everybody is welcome to contact!
