Worcester Warriors sign Samoan back row Ezra Taylor

Worcester Warriors have signed Samoa international back row Ezra Taylor.

The 28-year-old has played for the Highlanders and Queensland Reds in the Super Rugby competition and had a spell with Connacht in the Magners League.

Australia-born Taylor, who can also play at lock, comes in following injuries to Kai Horstmann, Adam Balding, Neil Best and Matt Kvesic.

"We had looked at Ezra over the summer with a view to recruiting him in the future," head coach Richard Hill said.

"Phil Davies and I both really liked the look of him at the Pacific Nations Cup for Samoa. We wanted a powerful player to add to our back row as we have come across, and continue to face, some big players this season.
