Man charged for illegal circumcision

Circumcision is practised so widely amongst Samoans i've never actually considered what kind of laws govern it. I guess you gotta get a license or something .. lol

hhmmm.....

Samoan man charged with illegal circumcisions

A 52-year-old man in Samoa has been charged with illegally circumcising 28 boys.

The man from Sataoa village is in police custody and is expected to appear in court later this week.

His case has highlighted the issue of circumcision of boys in the Pacific.

Dr Kiki Maoate, a paediatric surgeon from Christchurch Hospital told Radio Australia's Pacific Beat, in New Zealand boys from the Pacific are still being circumcised.

"In the Pacific population boys continue to be circumcised either here in New Zealand or they travel to the Pacific island countries to have their circumcision," he said.

Dr Maoate said the practice of circumcision changes depending on the country.

Maoate is a Cook Island surname !

And it costs about $50NZD to get your son circ***ized in Raro ! (FOR LOCALsz) For visitorsz its $150NZD i think !!! But if it didnt eff up the boysz reproduction mechanisms (LOLOL !) Whats the problem?

Well, anything that has to do with removing a piece of skin from the body should be done by a professional because it may get infected and I believe those boys ended up going back to the hospital because of infection. Poor parents, they were looking for a cheaper way but not the bill is tripled. :azz: :azz: :azz: :azz:

It use to be done with a piece of glass or sharpened bamboo in the old days, this guy must have being really unhygienic in his methodology. It's actually peeled back not totally removed and than stitched up FYI @ Masina, i know ouch :cry:

lmaooo@JJW i dont think Dr Kelly have the skill for this profession...just received an email from the department of health stated that Dr Kelly only a Midwife :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
