Permalink Reply by LiJH on March 7, 2012 at 2:27pm The Clarke sisters are the dopest gospel artists in terms of power, range and just straight up annointed-singing.
Fred Hammond is tied with Joe Crabb and they will always be my favorite male gospel artists, but if it's group then the Winans are the classic gospel crooners with smooth harmony and great songs.
Honorable mentions: Marvin Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp (whewwww!), Mississippi Mass choir, Chicago Mass Choir, John P Kee, Tye Tribbet (dope for the more modern gospel), DeWayne Woods, Maurette Brown, Lanny Wolfe and family, the Gaither family, the Nelons, the Isaacs, The Crabb family (check out 'Through the fire' powerful song, James Brown...and many many more. hahaha
Anyone listen o Gospel rap?? Lecrae and Andy Mineo are maddd dope as well..as well as Sevin!
