Ning Chat
Ning Chat is the chat you'll find on the toolbar, at the bottom of your screen in One Samoana. Click anywhere on the bar to open up the chat screen.
As long as you're somewhere in the village (the whole network) you will be counted as 'Online Now' in Ning Chat, and your profile photo will appear in the list of members. To appear 'Offline', just click on the green light. It will turn red, and you will not be seen in Ning Chat.
While you've got your chat screen closed, if someone in there is trying to get your attention through private chat, this icon will blink:
Just open your chat screen and click on the tab that is blinking to enter into a private chat with that person.
If you'd like to initiate private chat with someone, just click on their name to open the options.
Ning Chat is also available on a page of its own. Find the link for that under the Evaevaga tab at the top of your screen.
